I had planned on running 7 miles on the treamill because of the T-Storms moving through. At a little under the 5 mile mark the power went out at the gym causing the treadmill I was on to come to an sudden stop. Needless to say I kept going and did a pretty good summersault for someone my age. No injuries to report.. As long as you leave out my ego.

I felt better the longer I ran. I have to start out slow and pick it up as I go. I managed 7.0 miles in 1:03:16. My right calf and buttock really ached at first.

My legs actually felt pretty good today. Normally, I have a lot of calf pain after a long run. This is good news and hopefully bodes well for the future.
